Traditional gift-handing ceremony
We went out to Seoul Garden to celebrate x’mas and Boon’s birthday on Christmas day. I always envy him as his birthday falls on Christmas eve and it’s easy to remember! For one reason or another, a number of people didn’t attend and our numbers went from 10 to only 6….a little disappointing, but it was alright as I had a feast!
It was nice to hear everyone joking around (as usual) and reminiscing about the past funny things that happened (such as Steven’s control of bicycles), and I experimented with cooking eggs too!
Although it was somewhat embarrassing to hand over the little gift we had for Boon, but let me justify by saying that it’s the most practical and asked for birthday gift among our group. And we did shop around but nothing suitable came to mind that he didn’t already have =P
Well that’s it for the last birthday of this year….whew!
