Tutorials and programming labs start this week, which means my free time evaporates from this week too! My brilliant master plan had been to keep Tuesdays free, but unfortunately the thrice-damned tutorial balloting system totally destroyed that plan! To add further insult, I just have to attend school for an hour on Tuesdays! What a waste of time and transport money….
I went for an economics experiment last week. Basically one just had to visit a fake website, pretend to make some transactions, and answer some survey questions onscreen. 45 minutes of my time, in return for 10 bucks. Not bad, considering that I managed to get paid for killing time while waiting for my next lesson! Luckily I have another one lined up, and this time might even get 20 bucks!
I went with Chewy to Ikea Tampines last week, as she wanted to get a CD rack and a table for her room. It’s a nice place, big, but I still prefer the one near my place as the location is better. (I’m not being biased haha) I rediscovered my love for their cheap hotdogs and also tried out their soft ice-cream, which is out of this world. Beats the one at Macdonald’s hands-down! YOU gotta try it…..
