Yay I finally quit my holiday job at Best Denki last Friday, and these last 2 weeks before school starts is a chance for me to take a breather and put up my legs! Mani and I must be the best temp staff in the world as my supervisor told me we were the only ones to buy farewell snacks for everyone in the office in their history of temp staff. (or maybe the job really sucks that much) 1 thing is for sure, no more trips to VivoCity in the near future! I’m sick of that place!
I’ve succumbed to the GSS craze and spent a bit of my salary on some clothes, mainly a pair of Kappa shoes, Surfer’s Paradise beach shorts, bermudas, 2 Giordano polo tees and a laptop bag (all budget items mind you). My excuse, as I keep telling myself, is that they are all for school.
Bidding for modules at school starts this week, and I’m gunning for the following modules:
Discrete Structures – some pseudo math involving logic and proofing stuff
Intro to Computer Networks – all about networking, been there done that (I hope)
Software Engineering – the heavyweight module here, lots of programming involved
Linear Algebra – the utterly disgusting as shit, inevitable as rain during soccer, unavoidable as the lunch crowd at Seah Inn Food Centre, math module
Intro to World Religions – my ‘relaxation’ module about, you guessed it, world religions
Hope I get them all! (how I hate students who outbid me for popular modules)
