What is it about players scoring against their old clubs? First it was the free-scoring Bramble, then it was Faye and now, even Bellamy almost inevitably scores against us! Thankfully we had Andy Carroll, whose towering presence and strong aerial ability reminds me so much of the immortal Alan Shearer. Hopefully we can see more of him instead of the clumsy Ameobi (who i had high hopes for but who keeps dashing them again and again).
And once again, we drew at home against fellow strugglers instead of beating them to climb above them. I wonder how long can this last till we get drawn into the relegation fight again?
